Before I start this review,read and learn and move on.To all of you who bother to read this and going 'oh no another biased one band review.So you can all understand in English and as it is so well put ,FUCK you!!
This is my opinion and mine alone...
This venue was cozy and loud!,good lighting,excellent stage and the sound was good too..The bands.
War Risk 3.
Tonight there was an urgency to the set,were they running late?,nah just as wild and well played.
And to make my day they played they played 'Love Will Tear Us Apart' by Joy Division.Some days wishes do come true.Thanks to you guys for doing so well in a short time.From remix to reality all I can say is mega thanks.
Wim and the guys were on form tonight a couple of classics covers here in the War Risk Style,gave new life to classic punk songs, really gave them new life.Boy would I love to hear Wims voice on a classic like ' I wanna be your dog'...shivers!
Yes I do enjoy this band very much,they are professional and work together.A real cohesion in bringing the music to the people.A band to see and enjoy,again and again.So that is what I'll do,and so should you.Get out to your local fests and see and book this band!
So my general opinion is the local radio station came up with some excellent Belgian bands.Put on a good venue for the bands.Unfortunately due to timing the last band Nunan and the Dj did not play,bad deal guys.The boys in blue said wie oo ,wie oo ,too late guys..everbody home.I had fun and enjoyed the show.More proof to get the majority of Brit Pop of the radio and play some excellent home produced music.
ps Mr radio guy,if my review sucks...wow you aint gonna get any prizes..
