Concert Review Foch Werchter By Stalkero >> WR3 start with Run then onto Mr President...from then on a bloody rollercoaster from beginning to end..fantastic.The show was fantastic,'Foch Werchter' was well worth waiting all day to see and hear this band.I will admit it was sweet to be dedicated as song,thanks Fab n the guys..
I have no shame in addmitting I slept through the whole afternoon,the other bands were young and not as experienced as WR3.Well it was nice to be recognized by Anja,sorry I was still asleep.How do I sleep through loud punk rock music you ask,boredom,when it is not good my brain goes to sleep.This show was vibrant and very much alive..a buzz... a real feeling of being part of some thing special..watching the kids really having fun,bopping away..great atmosphere here..the band were relaxed and the crowd handed back everything to them.
This is what this band do to you,grab in the gut and blast your ears off..It is only the second time I have seen them live,and yet the songs and chorus lines were tripping of my tounge like I knew these songs by heart.And to see this bunch of guys interact with the crowd is a joy,Fab and Cartouche still joking with each other and Wim stalking the stage,stalking the crowd,watching the reactions of the crowd..making them sing and join in on and off stage..singing into the mike!!one word comes to mind 'Involved'.that was what I came away with, these guys are involved,with each other,with the fantastic quality of music and above all else the crowd.

Come to Wim children ,just like the Pied Piper and he will amuse you,make you sing and even make you feel part of the music..but never forget he is in control..still the master of the stage.And it is allways the music that leads us on and on..And tonight Cartouche aka Elephant Man aka Big Ears aka Meat and Two Veg gave us all a wonder full surprise..I am still wondering who had the courage to write on his ass 'eat this'.Even worse who is going to have the courage to get that ink of his butt...poor soul!!Haven't seen a guy perform before with a string and guitar as clothing before..puts a new meaning to Trunk Rock,ha ha ha..Tonight all I want to remember are the songs are like anthems,real punk rock,yet the words in many of the songs have a real tragedy to them,a real message of despair for injustice even hate.At how our society turns a blind eye to misery on our own doorstep,'looking for a home' 'Soldier boy''Wake up Call'..meaningfull words and with a very real message within the song.

Musicians onstage and gentlemen off it,like P quiet spoken and charming and yet a talent with bass lines I just can't get enough of what he brings to these songs..pure heaven.Ok I'm a nut who picks up chords and riffs in tunes and they stick,and a good bass riff is as wonderfull as any lead giutar solo(.Please play 'Love Will Tear Us Apart' at a show soon.your version of Joy Divisions song is something else).No taking away what these gutsy fuckers have together...apart from balls and atitude..they are the real deal.Together they stand never divided!

I am going to hassle all you lazy assed Belgians on myspace to get your bodies to go to a show with this band.Go and see them,what you hear on thier page and cd is what you get onstage,how many bands can deliver that!!.Not only American bands can give you a big sound.War Risk 3 deliver as good if not better..they want to be close to you, involved..so get involved with them,come on show support for a bloody great band and bunch of guys.Next show Rockkaffee in Wellen on the 14th of july,Belgium.
